He has created mysteries used by Doug Henning, David Copperfield, Orson Welles, Siegfried and Roy, Ricky Jay and many other leading performers. Jim's illusions have been featured in television specials, Las Vegas, touring shows, Off-Broadway, Broadway and West End productions, including Merlin, Ricky Jay on the Stem, Into the Woods, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Beauty and the Beast. He has earned two Drama Desk nominations for his work. Jim has produced numerous magic shows for television in the US and UK, and is the author of books on the history and art of magic, including the recent bestseller Hiding the Elephant. He lives in Los Angeles.
